Ok just wanted to say one last time how much I love Jerry's schtick. It's a big schtick so rich and juicy waiting to he played. I long for its mighty thrusts heard from afar with no hesitation or halting. I revel in its explosive power as it blows powerfully upon my chest and I smile. Shrek is love, shrek is life.

Hey old neighbor, found myself searching for a certain bluesy groove and instantly thought of you for inspiration. The music I heard coming from next door and the lessons you shared are invaluable. I feel fortunate to have met an artist like you, that recorded the birds outside his front porch and created beautiful music from it. Those memories are forever and I thank you for that. Best wishes to you and yours, keep on rockin!

Hey Jerry. Don't know if you'll remember me or not but back in your Peculiar Red days you and the band used to come to Waseca and play for our Saturday night services we had at that time. I think you guys even came and played at our local prison once. Just wanted to say hi and hope life is treating you well. God Bless!!!

Glad I finally got a chance to check out your stuff! Love the tunes, man. I especially like "Bo Didley's Skinny Cow." Kinda John Cage meets Michael Hedges, only not quite like either one. I love how it starts out kind of atonal and aleatoric, then shifts to a more tonal, structured form. I also liked "Ripped Yellow Shade" and...heck, I liked 'em all, really, but the skinny cow one was my favorite. Good stuff!

Quite an elaborate website! Love the coffee blog page! Way cool that you've had your own record company since the Peculiar Red days. Sorry we missed our last chance to see Peculiar Red. We really wanted to, but things got tough in North Minneapolis around that time (you might remember 1995 was the year the New York Times called it "Murderapolis") and we made a flying leap to Burnsville in February of 96. So I guess you could say we got a little busy.
